The varsity team beat Cinco Ranch in the State semi-finals 4-3 in a shootout to advance to the State championship game on Saturday at 4pm.  During regulation, Marcus scorers were Maddie Algya and Kaity Hemperly with 2.  During the shootout, Maddie Algya, Rhiana Barrows, Kelly Van Gundy, and Kaity Hemperly all converted their penalty kicks.  Goalkeeper Stephanie Starr saved the shot from the 5th shooter of Cinco Ranch to seal the victory.
